Artists Statement
For more than half my life I’ve been taking photographs mostly for myself or to share with family and friends.
As my life changed so did my photos, almost always involving my environment and the natural world. I try to capture on film, a moment, a design, feelings, colors, beauty and the unusual.
Currently I’m using a Minolta 35 mm SLR camera with Kodak color print film.
A few years ago I joined the Photo Arts Collective (PAC)-a group of photographers and photo enthusiasts who meet once a month for lectures or discussions about photography and related topics.
Because of the contact with these very talented artists I was encouraged to begin showing and sharing my photos with others.
