White Space Gallery to Host its First

Saturday Morning Lecture Series with

World Renowned Sculptor

 New Haven - White Space Gallery 1020 Chapel St . New Haven , CT will host a multimedia lecture series by highly acclaimed Connecticut Sculptor Craig Frederick.

 Frederick ’s multimedia presentation will explore the process, thought, and technique behind his work, and will take place on Saturday, January 22, 2005 from 10:30 am until 12 noon at White Space Gallery. Refreshments will be provided. Admission is free but reservations are required. Please call the gallery at (203) 495-1200 by January 19 th, as space is limited. Refreshments provided by the recently opened “Oolongs” Tea bar. A contemporary tea bar with an Asian Flair.

A native to New Britain , Craig has been creating sculpture for over twenty years. His work is presently collected in two countries and seven states including large scale public commissions, in addition to corporate and private collections.

Craig Frederick has taught art in a variety of capacities for over twenty years, including three universities and several public and private high schools. He also instructs summer arts programs such as The Multi-Cultural Arts and Technology Program offered at Central Connecticut State University . Frederick continues to offer private and group instruction out of his own studio, and lectures at statewide arts and education conferences. He is presently teaching Advanced Media Arts classes at Central Connecticut State University and stone carving classes offered through the federally funded Gifted and Talented program for high schools.

Craig is presently represented exclusively by the new and exciting White Space Gallery in downtown New Haven .
