The exhibit entitled “PINCH” was inspired by Laroux’s visit to the Louvre Museum in Paris where a circa 1594 painting by an unknown artist that portrays an oddly affectionate and provocative pinchdrove him to create the series.

About the series, Laroux states, “Each of the five paintings tells a seductive story about a voluptuous and confident woman tempting man in changing scenarios. The paintings revolve around embellished stories with visual elements obtained from my life experiences”
